The trade union BECTU is working in partnership with Westminster Kingsway College (Kings’ Cross Centre) to host key industry organisations.

New entrants seeking apprenticeship and trainee opportunities in the creative sectors need to take part in Find Your Future 2015. Openings in film, TV, theatre and live events will be the focus of the day’s programme.

Launch line-up

Confirmed employers and organisations include Association of British Theatre Technicians (ABTT), Creative & Cultural Skills, Creative Skillset, BBC Academy, Stage Electrics, White Light, the Royal Opera House, High House Production Park and Springboard Media.

More organisations are coming on board every day so keep checking back for further info or follow us on twitter @bectu for updates.

Employers’ Market Place

The employers’ market place will be central to the day; the programme will also include presentations, panel discussions and seminars to highlight specific sectors and to deliver advice on key aspects of employment.

Lezli Everitt, project leader, explained:

“Find Your Future is for new entrants who have not pursued further education and who are interested in finding out more about opportunities on offer in the creative industries. Together with the employers, we want to reach candidates who may think that the creative sectors are not for them. An event such as this is important for everyone who wants to see opportunities shared with the widest possible audience and talent pool.”

Book Now

New entrants can act now to secure their place by booking here. (Please ensure that you provide a correct email address).

“Once you have signed up we will send you a link to book for specific seminars and panel discussions when the full programme is released,” explained Lezli Everitt.

The event is free to new entrants and refreshments will also be provided. Join us for a networking session to close the day and there’ll also be free entry to a raffle.
