Head of Department LX

Surrounded by stunning Northamptonshire countryside, our Bugbrooke site is looking for an individual with substantial experience working with electrical and automation control systems in the entertainment industry to head up our busy and dynamic electrics department.

Structural Engineer

You have a sound theoretical understanding and clear appreciation of practical issues.  This will involve the design and analysis from first principles and by the application of standard codes of practice for limit state design in steel (Eurocode 3), to a lesser extent aluminium (Eurocode 9) and other codes where appropriate.

You are proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor.

This demanding role offers an opportunity to apply and further develop a wide range of technical and personal skills in a diverse and professional environment.  The position is salaried and the standard 40 hour week can vary within deadline requirements.  Whilst office based, some work occurs on site and in the workshop.

Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently looking for a mechanical / design engineer to become an integral part of our busy design engineering department.  The department is responsible for working with our clients and in house project managers to design and deliver practical engineering solutions to a variety of challenging briefs, ranging from simple truss arrangements in 2D to complete stage engineering designs in 3D.

You have a good knowledge and experience of:  AutoCAD; Inventor; Microsoft Windows and Excel.

It will be an advantage to have experience of:  Steel wire rope assemblies; lifting equipment including winches; structural engineering and site surveys, but not essential.

Project Assistant

The role will be predominantly office based at our headquarters in Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire, and also attending site visits and project management meetings at national locations on a project by project basis.

You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and literate. You are computer literate with a high degree of competency using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The role will have you assisting with planning, coordination and delivery of projects and events, providing administrative and operational support to the Projects Team, including budgeting and purchasing/raising purchase orders and managing accommodation and accreditation requirements on a project by project basis.
