We are now looking for a Deputy Production Manager who will work closely with the Director of Production to ensure that The Old Vic’s productions are delivered to the highest standard possible within the parameters and resources set by the Artistic Director, Creative Producer and General Manager in collaboration with The Old Vic’s Production, Technical and creative teams. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in technical theatre, excellent prioritisation and organisation skills and a positive approach to dealing with a wide range of staff and artists at all levels.

Please note this is a fixed term position for four months.

Deputy Head of Stage

Salary: £41,181 p/a (BECTU rate, with additional 8 hours overtime/ weekly buy out)

We are now looking for a Deputy Head of Stage who will play a key role in a team of dedicated technical professionals, working collaboratively across the theatre and with creative teams, to deliver excellence in bringing world-class productions to The Old Vic stage, alongside an innovative and industry-leading Additional Programming schedule. The post-holder will be actively involved in the setting up shows including fit-ups, get-outs, technical, rehearsals, dress rehearsals and weekly show cover. The successful candidate will be a dynamic professional with significant experience of working in a Stage department for a producing theatre, excellent communication and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to manage and train casual stage staff.
