Events Technician

39 Hours per Week

The Events Technician will play a key role in ensuring that all activities, events & shows that happen in any area of Wales Millennium Centre or beyond are supported technically to the highest standard. The Centre currently has six dedicated function rooms that are hired to clients for meetings, conferences, product launches and weddings, as well as various spaces in the foyers and concourse that are also available to clients to hire. The work undertaken by the Events Technician will be between Monday to Sunday and often include evening events. The working week is 39 Hours, however on some occasions it may be required to work more than this, in which case any hours worked over the 39 will be given back as time off in lieu. There are arrangements in place to cover breaks during the day and overnight breaks, infringement payments are paid where applicable. The post attracts 25 days holiday a year.
