We are looking for a Lighting Resources Technician to join the Lighting Resources team in our Lighting Department.

The Lighting Resources team’s duties include running the internal “hire shop” for equipment available to the 3 theatre spaces, supplementing their basic rigs for productions in the Rep. They also take responsibility for the many events at the NT that require lighting and power, such as The Deck and Family Days. They also support West End transfers and tours where possible.

The purpose of the role is;

  • To work with the Lighting Resources team to provide technical support for Events and architectural lighting systems across the NT, including foyers, exterior areas and the NT Studios.
    • To work with other members of the Lighting Department to provide technical support for the production lighting, dimming, networking and data distribution systems in the three theatres and other spaces.
    • To work with the Lighting Resources Team to support planned maintenance work and ensure compliance with current safety and electrical regulations for all equipment, including Portable Appliance Testing.
    • To update the Lighting Resources Department databases, ensuring that equipment is logged and tracked and that test results are recorded correctly.
