Stage Resources Manager

The National Theatre are recruiting for a Stage Resources Manager to join the NT’s Stages team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Stage, the Stage Resources Manager is responsible for the Rigging and Logistics departments at the NT; managing all compliance, inspection and operational rigging activity across the National Theatre’s venues, and managing the on-site and off-site storage and asset tracking of NT equipment and shows.

The Stage Resources Manager manages and supervises all Stage Resources staff, enabling the highest levels of skill and engagement to be maintained throughout the department.

With the Head of Stage, and in consultation with the other Technical and Production departments, the Stage Resources Manager participates in strategic and forward-planning, working towards modernising and standardising NT Stage infrastructure and working practices, and helping to sustain the National Theatre as a centre of excellence for theatre practice throughout the industry.

The successful candidate will have considerable proven experience at a supervisory or manager level in producing and touring theatre, experience managing rigging projects and teams, and industry-recognised certificates such as NRC, IOSH, NEBOSH, ABTT awards.
