Job Title:                   Stage Resources Technician (Grade 4)

Responsible To:      Stage Resources Manager &
Stage Resources Rigging Supervisor

Responsible For:     Supervision of Grade 5 Technicians & Casual Staff

The National Theatre are looking for a Stage Resources Technician (Grade 4)

Based in the Stage Resources department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day activity of the Resources Department (Rigging) and assist the Stage Resources Rigging Supervisor in all planned activities.

You’ll participate in the full range of technical duties during fit-ups, rehearsals, performances, change-overs and get-outs carried out by the department, providing duty cover and technical support as necessary, working in all three venues and other NT spaces as required.

We’re looking for someone with solid stage operational experience in a professional theatre environment, good working knowledge and experience of rigging, counterweight flying, and power-assisted flying, and the ability to work at height using access equipment and PPE.
