NOS Consultation

At the AGM one of the items presented to the membership was the National Occupational Standards (NOS).  Maggie Saxon asked that the membership of the ABTT engaged with the process so that as an industry we can be at the forefront of the scheme.

It is important that as many people as possible participate so that we can ensure that the standards being developed are necessary and relevant to our industry.

Maurice Marshal MBE 1934 - 2010

The ABTT is saddened to hear of the passing of one of its most esteemed members, Maurice Marshal MBE.

Maurice died on Saturday the 10th of July after a long illness and will be sadly missed not only by his work colleagues at Stage Electrics and the Northcott Theatre but also by the theatre industry as a whole.

Derry/ Londonderry wins City of Culture

The announcement was broadcast live from Liverpool on the BBC's The One Show on Thursday night.
