Flying
This code relates to equipment in a theatre or place of assembly used for the purpose of flying, rigging or suspending scenery,lighting or other materials or equipment in any part of the auditorium, stage, flytower or ancilliary spaces associated with the performance.

A Modern Approach to Emergency Lighting in Theatres
New legislation and technology are setting new standards for escape lighting, often inter=national, directed at many types of public building and workplace. While these are probably excellent improvements in the locations for which they are prilarily intended, it is impoirtant that the special needs of theatres and other similar places of assembly are properly recognised.
