Following the partnership between the ABTT and the Event Cinema Association to produce joint seminars on how to present live theatre shows in cinemas at BVE 2014 we thought you may be interested in the new training courses offered by HDDC Ltd.
High Definition & Digital Cinema Ltd, in conjunction with the Event Cinema Association and supported by Creative Skillset have announced NEW training workshops for Event Cinema.
The training course is delivered in two parts: Capture/Distribution and Reception/Presentation, and is aimed at improving the quality, viability and reliability of event cinema.
The workshop will cover the commercial issues to do with the distribution of content from existing or new.
With regard to the technical challenges facing the Event Cinema industry, the course will inform and educate those involved in the day-to-day presentation of live events. It will discuss both the pitfalls but also the benefits to the audience and exhibitor of having a properly structured approach to event cinema right across the supply chain, from production through to distribution and finally exhibition.
The course is aimed at content providers, content distributors, production crew and cinema staff.
The first of the two day theory and practical workshops will take place at the BFI Southbank in London on the 20-21st July 2015.
Further courses will be held in Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow, and Belfast later in the year. This course is only available to UK residents as it is funded by the UK government, but if you would like training courses made available in your territory outside the UK please contact the ABTT.
