The Society of Light and Lighting (SLL) is excited to announce that the acclaimed lighting designer, Paule Constable, will be delivering the 2020 Trotter Paterson Lecture, taking place on 10 September 2020. She will be discussing her award-winning work, motivations and experience as a lighting designer during this free to access, online event.

Paule’s experience in theatre and stage lighting will follow on from previous speakers including Dr Peter Boyce and Neurobiologist, Sir Colin Blakemore. The first Trotter Paterson Lecture was given in 1951, in honour of two distinguished past Presidents of the Illuminating Engineering Society, Alexander Trotter (President 1917-1920) and Sir Clifford Paterson (1928), both were founding members of the SLL in 1909.
