Creation Theatre Company who have been inviting audiences to watch an interactive, virtual version of Shakespeare’s The Tempest – from the safety of their sofa. They have also producedof Alice: A Virtual Themepark . Creation Theatre have kindly set up a code: ABTT which will give a free ticket to those who would like to come and experience the show themselves.

Theatre Alibi who are doing fabulous work at the small scale in and around Exeter, really inspiring problem solving and making great work.

“The Art of Facing Fear” – is a live digital production created for the zoom platform and performed by companies in Sweden, Senegal, South Africa, Brazil and Nigeria – where Bola is based. Details of this production can be found here.

Donmar Warehouse who have produced Blindness:

National Theatre Wales, have coproduced “Network” with  the Sherman Theatre and Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru. This was a series of Digital Commissions and play readings delivered every week between May and July during the Covid lock-down. 

Royal Opera House have run three Saturday live stream events during June 2020, shown live on YouTube with the 3rd one was also screened in the summer on BBC4. Druing the summer they will also be screening pre-recorded full ballets and operas with Luna Cinema – drive-in cinema. Smaller activities include YouTube masterclasses with the Musical Director coaching young artists.

Toasterlab, a Toronto-based production company working at the intersection of live performance and mixed reality. They recently completed a collaboration with Dancing Earth called Indigneous Futurities, which had performers from around the world collaborate in a live streaming performance  and is currently working on TrailOff with Swim Pony Performing Arts to use immersive media performances to engage Philadelphians with the city’s circuit trail system.

Watermans is a combined arts centre serving the communities of West London. The centre, on the banks of the Thames at Brentford, includes a cinema, theatre, studios, and the only permanent New Media Arts Gallery in London. During lockdown they have doing a live streamed gigs including Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues 40th Anniversary  and Bell Square Summer Gig: Bikini Beach Band.

Yvonne Arnaud Theatre who have been doing screenings of performances and socially distance outdoor performances.
