ABTT Fellow Mark Dakin, Principal at TAIT (ABTT Platinum ISG Member), will present “The Artistic Application of Extraordinary Engineering” for the Institution of Engineering and Technology’s London Network’s Christmas Event on Wednesday 13th December.

Presentation Details:

With artists wanting to make each show bigger and better, and audiences demanding “Instagrammable-moments”, the live entertainment world demands ever more audacious engineering. This presentation will look at how engineering disciplines contribute to the world’s biggest spectaculars, will examine how some effects are achieved, and how engineers from a variety of disciplines (including software, hardware or networking and cyber) all co-collaborate on work around the world in venues as varied as theatres, cruise ships, theme parks, opera houses and arenas.
