Derby Theatre is currently entering an exciting phase in its development and will be expanding its staff team over the coming months.

We are currently looking for a Company and Stage Manager to both work directly with artistic, technical and production teams, and to be a bridge for cross-departmental communication across the organisation.

The role collaborates across artistic and learning projects whilst also providing a key supporting role to the department enabling effective planning of production activity throughout the year. Undertaking a variety of stage management roles within produced work and other projects, this broad role includes performance duties as required.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Essential to this role is a commitment to Derby Theatre’s Learning Theatre model and therefore a willingness to engage with learners (including students and the general public) is vital.
