Application closing date: 22 Jul 2024 8:00am

Based: West Kensington

Salary: £870 per week (8 show week)

Position: Stage Manager

Contract: Fixed Term Contract

Job description

The Great Christmas Feast is TLE’s immersive adaptation of Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, and celebrates its 7th year in production.

It’s Christmas Eve, 1843 and Dickens is preparing his famous annual feast at his home where this year he will give a special reading of his new Christmas story to his nearest and dearest. Scored for one performer and three musicians, TGCF is a virtuosic, tour de force performance for our lead actor, Alex Phelps (returning to the role), as he brings to life the story through storytelling, physical theatre, music and production magic.

The Stage Manager manages and runs the stage department on the show and has ownership of the prompt script. As well as running rehearsals/tech (including scheduling) and managing props, on shows you will be setting stage and props, cueing performers, assisting with quick changes and opping any required SM cues.

This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role that is well suited to someone who has held stage management roles in theatre or live events. We are looking for someone with at least 5 year’s experience in these disciplines, ideally within theatre and/or immersive productions
