Watermans is West London’s leading arts centre, housing a theatre, cinema, digital arts gallery, and 2 studio spaces. In addition we run a year-round programme of outdoor events, site-specific arts and participative arts workshops.

We are currently looking for a dynamic highly-motivated Theatre Technician to join our operations team.

The role is full-time and will involve working both within the venue and on outdoor events at Bell Square (www.bellsquarelondon.com), and occasionally at other venues. We require a person with a bias towards sound and AV but you’ll be an all-rounder who enjoys the challenge of working on a wide variety of projects.  Training will be given, where necessary, for cinema projection.

Duties include:

  • Working with professional visiting companies and supporting community productions in the theatre and studio spaces.
  • Installation of exhibitions, including digital works.
  • Technical and event support including logistics for outdoor events.
  • Projection cover for the cinema.
  • Day-to-day building maintenance
  • Providing technical support for workshops.
