The New Wolsey Theatre is looking for a full-time, permanent Theatre Technician to work within the Production team to deliver the technical requirements of the theatre’s Produced, Presented and Creative Communities work.

The Production Department is at the heart of what we do, supporting around six in-house/ co-produced shows each year and a vibrant visiting and community programme, each show or project brimming with creativity and ambition thanks to a committed in-house team.

The roles are for 40 hours per week, and will include evening and weekend work. The rota and pattern of work will change week to week, subject to the theatre schedule.

You will already have some professional experience as a Theatre Technician for example in lighting, sound, video or carpentry, and will have an open and creative outlook to providing technical support that will be just right for our friendly, busy and welcoming theatre.
