Harlow Playhouse is a dynamic, community-rooted venue with a busy programme and a reputation for high-quality productions.
Our annual pantomime is a key highlight, delivered by a skilled, collaborative team made up of experienced in-house and freelance professionals.

With excellent facilities – including a 400-seat main auditorium, full fly tower, and state-of-the-art lighting and sound – this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-run, supportive production environment delivering one of the region’s most popular festive shows.

We’re currently recruiting for a range of temporary technical roles for the pantomime season, including:
Stage Crew – to support scene changes, set handling, and backstage operations and operate special effects
Technical Assistant Stage Manager – to assist with the smooth running of the rehearsal room, source and manage props.
Rehearsal Assistant Stage Manager – to support the company during the rehearsal period, sourcing and making props.
Fly Person – to operate the counterweight flying system as part of the show crew
