Sadler’s Wells is a world-leading creative organisation dedicated to dance in all its forms. Our mission is to make and share dance that inspires us all.

We are looking for a Senior Technician, with excellent automated flys and stage skills, to join our team at Sadler’s Wells East. Demonstration of knowledge, skills and experience level in automated flying and acceptable level in heavy entertainment rigging is essential to this role.

The principal responsibility of the Senior Technician, Automated Flys and Stage is to assist in the preparation and running of productions, ensuring that technical requirements are met in a safe and professional manner across the theatre space, studios, and its additional spaces. Our new venue Sadlers Wells East will have state of the art equipment with an automated flys system, it will be the responsibility of this role to assist in the commissioning of this new system as well as operate and maintain this and stage equipment to the highest standards.

This permanent opportunity will encourage you to use and develop your technical experience and help bring dance to life on the Sadler’s Wells East stage.

Sadler’s Wells East is predominantly a receiving theatre with varied seasons, including both artistic and commercial activities. Candidates would be required to have a flexible approach to working patterns, and ideally will have experience of working with either repertory or touring companies.
