ELECTION OF COUNCIL MEMBERS 2019

Nominations for ABTT Council Elections are now open, all nominations must be returned to the ABTT Office before the 30th August 2019 to be considered.

Please note that only MEMBERS, HONORARY MEMBERS & FELLOWS of the ABTT are eligible to nominate persons for election to Council and only MEMBERS, HONORARY MEMBERS & FELLOWS are eligible for nomination.  A list of their names may be found here.

 

The Council, with eleven elected members, is the governing body of the ABTT.  Council members are Directors of the Company and Trustees of the Charity.  Six vacancies will occur at the time of the next AGM by the resignation of Charlotte Lockyer and through the retirement by rotation of the following members of Council who will have completed their current three-year term of office: David Edelstein, Peter Maccoy, Tom Mannings, Caroline Rouse and Nikki Scott.

David Edelstein and Tom Mannings have served two consecutive terms and are not eligible to stand this year.  Peter Maccoy, Caroline Rouse and Nikki Scott are eligible to stand for a further three-year term.

Anette Ollerearnshaw and John Young were re-appointed in 2017 for a second three year term; David Evans was re-appointed in 2018 for a second three year term; Louise Birchall, Charlotte Lockyer and Darren Joyce  were appointed in 2018 for an initial 3 year term.

Members of the ABTT are invited to send in nominations for candidates to be put forward for election.  If more than six nominations are received, there will be an election by ballot.  The information given on the nomination paper will be included in the ballot notice.   Please click here to download a nomination paper and here for a nominee information sheet.
