Guildhall School of Music & Drama’s Backstage Roadshow takes FREE backstage skills workshops directly into UK state schools, introducing children and young people to the variety of creative pathways and career opportunities that exist within theatre, live events, television and film.

Led and designed by  Production & Design tutors and freelance industry professionals, the Backstage Roadshow provides a crucial insight into one of the UK’s fastest growing sectors, inspiring young people to train and work in the creative industries, aligning with many of the Gatsby Benchmarks for careers guidance and education in schools.

Hands-on and creative, our workshops are ideal for Key Stages 3 and 4, lasting up to three hours for eight pupils in each. Creating and scheduled workshops to fit within schools’ own timetable.
