The prestigious Queen’s Awards are widely considered as the highest honour for outstanding achievement by UK businesses.
Winning in the category of International Trade is a tremendous endorsement of Clark Door’s commitment to its international markets. Exporting to more than 45 countries worldwide, Clark Door has achieved year on year growth in its exports since Andrew Ashley, Managing Director, joined the family-owned business in 2007. The company works with some of the world’s most eminent architects to develop new and innovative doors for projects around the globe.
On winning the award, Andrew Ashley, said: “We at Clark Door are immensely proud to have won The Queen’s Award for International Trade. Working across the globe with products that push the boundaries technically can be a challenge with the need to meet local standards. Our engineering team has risen to these challenges and worked extremely hard to provide high performance door solutions to prestigious projects such as The Shed, Hudson Yards, New York and Royal Opera House, Muscat, Oman. It is an honour to receive this esteemed award, widely recognised as one of the UK’s most coveted business awards. I am sure this will help us raise awareness of our high quality, British engineered door solutions around the world.
Whilst the last month has been a challenging time for many, this great news could perhaps not come at a better time. For our staff, suppliers, customers and local community, I hope this news will give them a significant boost.”
