The latest revision of EN 17206-1 (formerly just EN 17206) “Entertainment technology — Machinery for stages and other production areas — Safety requirements and inspections” has been released for public comment.

To enable the committee members to make sense of comments, a certain level of information is required:
• Reference – the standard clause or subclause you’re referring to – e.g. 5.5.1
• Paragraph / figure / table – the exact paragraph or diagram being referred to – e.g. 3rd paragraph
• Comments – the justification for your comment. Be as specific as possible and avoid abstract comments or further questions as this will help the committee to assess your comment
• Proposed change – the text you suggest to replace or amend the draft text.

Please submit your comments to  admin@abtt.org.uk   before the 29th August 2025 for them to be collated before they are submitted back to the BSI Committee.
