Maintaining a balance of interests on ESTA’s working groups is an essential part of the standards development process. While true parity of interest categories is difficult to attain in the ever evolving world of the Technical Standards Program, ESTA still try to narrow any disparity by soliciting new participants in specific interest categories, asking them to consider contributing their time and expertise.

If you have an interest in the scopes of the following working groups, then this solicitation is directed at you:

• Control Protocols Working Group: CPWG needs Custom market producers; Designers; Dealer or rental companies; General interest. They do NOT need Mass-market producers.

• Electrical Power Working Group: EPWG needs Custom market producers; Designers; Dealer or rental companies; General interest.

• Event Safety Working Group: ESWG needs Equipment providers; Event workers, Insurance companies; Performing artists.

• Floors Working Group: FWG needs Custom market producers; Dealer or rental companies.

• Fog & Smoke Working Group: FSWG needs Dealer or rental companies.

• Followspot Positions: FPWG needs Dealer or rental companies.

• Photometrics Working Group: PWG needs Custom market producers; Designers: Dealer or rental companies; General interest.
