What does this course cover?

Concepts & Fundamentals: What theatrical automation is, where and why it is used, and its key possibilities and limitations.

Systems & Technology: Common system components, basic automation topology, and the fundamentals of control systems and control loops.

Operations & Safety: Types and applications of automation, best practices, clear communications, and safety protocol in live production.

Teamwork: Standard workflows, dynamic roles, and safe operations within an automation crew.

What will you or your team gain?

Upon completion, participants will demonstrate a solid understanding of essential automation components, live-event applications, and team dynamics. Completing this foundation module also unlocks access to the ABTT Silver Award for Automation training.
