ABTT NorthNet is pleased to invite ABTT members to a planned visit to The Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool

This visit will provide valuable insight into the theatre’s rich history, operational practices, and facilities. The itinerary will include a guided tour of the venue’s large Stage revolve which is still operational, including an opportunity to view under the stage to see the mechanics of the revolve in action.

The Stalls of the venue also isn’t a typical layout, it is configured in a cabaret set up with a mixture of tables and chairs and a bar at the very back of the stalls. With a more traditional Circle then balcony level to accompany. The venue tour will be followed by an opportunity for professional discussion and networking with fellow members.

Join ETC’s Joe McDonald  after the tour as he discusses some of his favourite strategies for keeping our venues operational while planning for and implementing technological upgrades. Within this, he will be addressing some of the difficulties of shifting financial landscapes, and what you might want to consider when planning your capital budget spends to have them stretch further.
