Course Overview

This course will provide you with the knowledge and practical tools to tackle the many and varied health and safety issues that arise within your organisation.

This course is suitable for anyone working at any role, at any level. There are no pre-requisites for attendance.

• To ensure that learners clearly understand their safety and health responsibilities.

• Identify why it is important to work safely
• Identify everyone’s responsibilities in relation to safety, health and wellbeing in the workplace
• Define key terms in safety and health
• Identify workplace hazards and risks, their impact and how to control them
• Identify ways safety, health and wellbeing are managed and improved within the workplace
