International Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference
The International Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference or ITEAC is the leading international gathering for those involved in conceiving, imagining or making the places we experience performance. It normally takes place every four years, with the next large-scale conference set to take place in 2030.
Open Planning Workshop for 2030
In Autumn 2026, the ITEAC Steering Committee will host a much smaller gathering in the form of an Open Planning Workshop. This presents an exciting and exclusive opportunity to meet with potential attendees, presenters and organisations for the next full-scale International Theatre, Engineering and Architecture Conference, which is due to take place in 2030.
Due to capacity, this event is initially open to ABTT’s Industry Supporter Group Members who represent the breadth of the industry in the UK. Through this in-person kick-off session, ISG Members can contribute ideas, suggest topics, and help capture the issues that our industry thinks will be relevant in 2030 and beyond.
The ITEAC Open Planning Workshop will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 21 October 2026 in London. ISG Members are invited to register their interest in participating via this form, and attendance will be confirmed by email as early as possible.
If you’re not currently an ISG member but are interested in becoming one, or in supporting this event in another way, please get in touch.
If you are an ISG Member but are unable to attend, or are not an ISG Member but are keen to contribute, you can send you suggestions for topics to be discussed on the day to admin@abtt.org.uk by Monday 12 October 2026.
