Theatre Women’s Health Event at Harold Pinter Theatre
9 October | 10:00 am - 11:00am

Women’s Health Project Committee, would like to invite you to a special event presenting the findings of their year-long research project into Women’s Health in Theatre.
This project has explored critical topics including menstruation, infertility, pregnancy, baby loss, and menopause – areas that profoundly affect working lives in our industry and yet have too often been overlooked. Our research has revealed both straightforward, practical changes that can be made, and more complex challenges that will require sustained collaboration across the sector. What is clear is that, by working together, we can create healthier, more equitable environments where women are able to thrive on and off stage.
This one-hour event will not be a traditional presentation, it will be a little ‘theatrical’ – in an attempt to bring our findings and recommendations to life in an engaging and impactful way. We warmly encourage you to join us for this important conversation, and to consider how your organisation can play a role in making theatre a more inclusive and supportive workplace for all.
The findings will be presented by Naana Agyei-Ampadu, Bryan Cranston, Paapa Essiedu, Lucy Karczewski, Liz Kingsman, James Norton, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Nima Taleghani, Rebecca Lucy Taylor.
This event is not just for women – but is for everyone. If you work with, employ, or even just know women, this is for you too. It’s simply a chance to come together and encourage some positive change, and the more of us involved, the better.
If you would like to attend the event please RSVP here. With your full name and any access requirements.
