David dedicated over 35 years to the theatre and performing arts industry, most recognisably in his role as ATG’s Property Director, in which he headed up the property, technical, health and safety, and environmental teams.

Following his retirement, David continued to generously contribute to the sector, serving as a Trustee of The Theatres Trust and his local theatre, the Marina in Lowestoft. He also shared his considerable experience as a consultant on the renovation of Trafalgar Theatre.

David’s expertise, commitment and dedication earned him the respect of colleagues and peers throughout the industry, and in 2015, we were proud to award him with an ABTT Fellowship for his contributions to the improvement of technical services across a number of venues.
