Job Description

Sheffield Theatres is looking for a Deputy Head of Stage to join their Technical team.

In this role, you’ll help make sure all stage activity across our venues, shows and events runs safely, smoothly and to a high standard, working closely with the Head of Stage.

You’ll oversee the Stage team day to day, organising staff, planning work and coordinating both permanent and casual team members. You’ll also be hands-on with shows, get-ins and get-outs, working closely with other technical teams, visiting companies and creative teams to deliver ambitious and exciting work across all our spaces.

We’re looking for someone with strong theatre and supervisory experience, good people skills and a practical, solution-focused approach. You’ll be calm under pressure and confident working in a busy environment.
