Job Description

The Birmingham Repertory theatre is looking for a stage supervisor for our new staging of The Snowman.

The Stage Supervisor (Performer Flying) is responsible for the operation of the Flying by Foys performer flying System.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the performer flying system, including pre-use checks and inspections.
• Participate in aerial rehearsals and training.
• Assist the stage department with the get ins and get outs at all venues.
• Assist the stage crew with scene changes during the show.
• Point of contact for performers and Stage Management.
• Assist with general maintenance of the show

12/10/26- Technical rehearsals
20/10/26- First Preview
27/10/26- Press night
02/11/26- Fit up at Peacock theatre, London
09/11/26- Technical rehearsals
21/11/26- First Performance
03/01/27 – Final performances
03-04/01/27-Get out

Person Specification:

You must have:

• Previous experience in performer flying

If you do not demonstrate that you meet these minimum criteria, you may not be shortlisted.

It would be great if you had:

• Previous experience working with a FOYs automated performer flying system
• IPAF licence
• First aid training
