We’re after a Technical Manager who can bring out the best in people and production.

Reports to: Head of Technical
Location: The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Gateshead
Working hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: £41,407 per annum
Contract: Fixed term, ASAP – 30 September 2026

You’ll lead our Technical Team to deliver top-notch support for every show, concert and event — from world-class performances to community projects. You’ll make sure everything runs safely, smoothly and to the highest standard, keeping artists, audiences and colleagues happy along the way.

We’re a friendly, canny bunch who care about making music happen for everyone. You’ll join a team that values creativity, collaboration and good humour and you’ll play your part in one of the North East’s most exciting cultural spaces.
