Safety Committee Chairman: Michael Anderson

Having established Anderson Bradshaw Limited in May 2015, Michael has realised a long-term goal of creating a consultancy business that is solutions driven, providing practical support and guidance to and for people.
A Chartered Member of IOSH, Michael has chaired the ABTT Safety Committee since 2013, is a member of the HSE’s Joint Advisory Committee for Entertainment (JACE) representing SAGE. Michael is a former Director and Fellow of the IEAM.

With 30 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Professional working in construction, facilities and entertainment safety he has specific experience in CDM, fire & life safety, work at height, permit to work systems and event electrical systems, along with noise and practical risk management.

As Chairman of SAGE, the Safety Advisor’s Group in Entertainment, Michael facilitates the UK’s largest specialist safety group in Entertainment with 200 members from Film, TV, Radio, Theatre, Museums, Venues, AV and independent Event Safety professionals including Event Trade Associations, Michael took control of SAGE in 2003 with only 3 members and has created a respected forum for safety professionals and technical specialists to share and develop ideas and solutions.
