Hailing from South Wales, Gareth joined the University of Surrey as a part of the GSA Technical Theatre Faculty in 2019 as a Lecturer in Theatre Production, having previously delivered training at both Mountview and LAMDA in London.
Since then, he has developed innovative approaches to teaching production sound and video in higher education and held the role of Disability & Neurodiversity Champion. In addition to his role within the ABTT’s Training and Education Committee, he is active member of the Association of Sound Designers (ASD) and sits on the Educators working group.
Outside of work, Gareth and family are all members of the Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain and enjoy travelling to rides and attractions across the UK and beyond.
