Multistage International Limited is made up of a small and dedicated team of professional with core personnel each having extensive experience in all technical aspects of the performing arts industry.

We have the in-house expertise and facilities to offer our services to be able to see your stage and studio engineering requirements through from start to finish, whether it be a
new project or refurbishment, including:

Concept planning, feasibility and budgeting.

Site surveying with the preparation of all necessary risk assessments and method statements.

Project management and the coordination of theatre and studio services with theatre consultants, architects and main contractors.

Full design packages for electrical control, lighting, audio and visual systems including  schedules, calculation, general assembly, machine parts and layout drawings.

Installation of mechanical, electrical, lighting, audio and control system engineering through the employment of highly skilled and certified specialists.

Commissioning, testing, servicing and maintenance to include test schedules, calculations of mechanical and structural analysis, LOLER reports and Seismic calculations for our equipment to be certified to international standard by a testing authority i.e. TUV SUD.

Multistage International Limited has carried out projects to demanding specification with major UK and international theatre consultants.  From school hall to concert hall; curtain track to automated flying systems; Multistage International Limited can utilise over 40 years of experience to design, supply, install and commission any systems relating to performance and entertainment technologies used in theatres, studios and other forms of public entertainment and conference venues.  These systems include but are not limited to, the following:-

Stage Machinery Systems, including power or manual flying systems, fixed bar or truss systems, elevators, revolving stages, stage wagons, safety curtains, acoustic shells, curtain tracks and other similar equipment.

Lighting Systems, including stage performance controls, auditorium lighting controls, custom working light control systems, DMX infrastructures and all forms of lighting instruments.

Audio & Video Systems, including main stage PA systems, stage effects and fold back systems, show relay systems, stage communication systems, conference systems, simultaneous translation systems, video projection systems, cinema projection & sound systems.

Multistage International Limited is experienced in liaising with architects, theatre consultants and contract management teams as well as on a local level with drama teachers and technicians to gain an understanding for their requirements.

With in-house design facilities Multistage International Limited can come up with innovatively engineered packages, from feasibility study to commissioning, tailored to the clients’ needs, whilst being sympathetic to their budget.

Using the latest AutoCad software Multistage International Limited can produce full stage machinery designs including calculations, general assembly, manufacturing and layout drawings.
