Ornate Interiors Limited is a specialist contractor providing inspection, survey, conservation, and repair services for decorative and historic plasterwork within theatres and performance venues, with particular expertise in listed and heritage buildings. The company undertakes high-level ceiling inspections, intrusive and non-intrusive plasterwork surveys, and the sensitive repair of fibrous plaster ceilings, ornamental mouldings, enriched cornices, and traditional lath and lime plaster.
Ornate Interiors Limited supports theatre operators in meeting their health and safety obligations through structured programmes of annual inspection, clear technical reporting, and certification. A responsive emergency service is also provided to address unforeseen defects presenting an immediate risk. All works are carried out in accordance with robust safety management procedures, with experience of working in live and historic theatre environments, including out-of-hours and overnight working to minimise disruption to performances and operations.
