Roger began his career in entertainment at the BBC before moving to work in theatre. Among many other jobs he was Technical Manager for eleven years at the newly built Barbican Centre. He is now a Director of Theatreplan which provides theatre planning and technical design services and expert advice in upgrading theatres with important heritage.
Roger FoxDuring my long association with the ABTT I have fulfilled many roles including organising the annual Theatre Show for 40 years. I have a love of industrial archaeology and am delighted to chair the ABTT’s Historical Research Committee which is our expert group on the physical and technical history of buildings, productions and associated entertainment installations and equipment.
