Registration now open for the ABTT Theatre Show 2023

23 February 2023

Following a triumphant come back in 2022, the much-loved ABTT Theatre Show is set to return for it’s 43rd edition at Alexandra Palace, providing the only exhibition in the UK focused solely on theatre and live entertainment. Free to attend, this popular industry event connects thousands of attendees with many of the biggest names in theatre and live entertainment.

Running over two fun-filled days, the ABTT Theatre Show provides the essential meeting point for our community, giving the industry a chance to meet face-to-face in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which provides a hot-bed for new discussions, connections, knowledge and productivity.

Encouraging this conversation, collaboration, mentoring and training is the range of activities that will be presented over the two days. This year the ABTT Theatre Show has a focus on young people, looking at how we can support them into the industry or assist in developing their careers.

What’s on?

As always, the two-day event will include free inspiring seminars on the latest industry topics which run alongside the busy show floor. Last year’s programmes included sessions on Sustainability, Mental Health, Get-in Code of Practice, HSE updates and a Freelancers’ Forum. Full details on the 2022 Seminars can be found here.

There will also be opportunities for hands-on demonstrations and taster sessions, the ability to network and speak with specialist exhibitors on the show floor, including those offering courses, apprenticeships, training and career development opportunities.

This year the ABTT have extended their popular “Education Alley” and “Associations’ Corner” and introduced the ABTT’s brand new “Careers and Professional Development Hub” providing a focused location where those in their early careers can make sure they have all the latest tips, tricks and practical advice to help them land that all important next role.

Attendees will be able to learn about the different jobs and schemes, networking with the most influential creatives in the business, with opportunities this year to meet key universities, colleges, associations and apprentice employers face-to-face; to have their CV’s reviewed or to sign-up for one-to-one meetings with key industry figures.

We’re working hard to squeeze even more exhibitors onto the show floor and make it an even bigger and better event for 2023! Don’t miss out, register for your free entry badge today! We look forward to seeing you there!”
