#WeMakeEvents – Survival in the Square
18 October 2020
A series of creative activations will take place each day in Parliament Square at 12 noon, from 26th October culminating in an extended socially distanced showcase of support – “The Bow” at the end of the week – taking place at 5pm on Saturday, October 31st. The aim is to showcase the breadth of live events and the technical supply chain that support them, and that live events need government policies in place to help people to return to work and further financial aid until everyone can return.
Monday 26th – Dancers with Classical Musicians – 12 noon. For performers only.
Tuesday 27th – Comedians – 12 noon
Open to #WeMakeEvents supporters and performers.
Wednesday 28th – Singers – 12 noon

Thursday 29th – Theatre actors – 12 noon. For performers only.
Friday 30th – Opera – 12 noon

Saturday 31st – West End Waiting – 12 noon

Saturday 31st – The Bow – 5pm
A socially distanced line of #WeMakeEvents supporters and technical crew will extend out from the square to surrounding roads to take their bow following the week’s creative activations.
All attendees to the events will need to register in advance and follow all protocols necessary. The Comedy event on Tuesday 27th is open to supporters of #WeMakeEvents as is the performance ‘Bow’ on Saturday 31st at 5pm, but all other events are specifically for performers only.
