1 week to go: ABTT Awards 2026 Nominations Closing Soon

9 April 2026

With just one week remaining, nominations are now open for the ABTT Awards 2026, with entries closing on 17 April 2026. Presented at the ABTT Theatre Show this June, the awards celebrate the people, products and ideas shaping the future of theatre and live events, from emerging talent to industry-leading innovation.

Celebrating the people behind the work: People Awards

The ABTT People Awards recognise the individuals who keep the industry moving — often behind the scenes.

From technicians and apprentices to those demonstrating emerging excellence, these awards shine a light on the skill, dedication and craft that underpin every production.

Anyone can nominate, making this an opportunity to recognise colleagues, collaborators and rising talent across the sector.

Putting innovation centre stage: Product awards

The ABTT Product Awards highlight the latest advancements in theatre and live event technology.

All nominated products are showcased at the ABTT Theatre Show, giving entrants the opportunity to present their work directly to the industry.

To be eligible, products must be:

  • New to market within the last 12 months
  • Available for real-world use
  • Featured on the show floor

For exhibitors, the awards offer a powerful platform to elevate new products and demonstrate innovation in a live environment.

Recognised by the industry

Winning an ABTT Award is widely regarded as a mark of excellence within the sector.

Previous winners have gone on to gain increased visibility, industry recognition and new opportunities, with the awards acting as a moment of acknowledgement from peers across theatre and live events.

As the programme continues to evolve, recent additions — including the Apprentice of the Year and Sustainable Product of the Year — reflect the industry’s growing focus on future talent and responsible innovation.
