It is over 30 years since the first undergraduate degree in Theatre Lighting. We consider what counts as a “good” lighting education, then, now and in the future? Can we build on the small but significant gains in diversity made in the lighting workforce over the last 25 years, or is access to these great jobs again to be restricted to the well connected and financially secure?
