The UK Theatre & Live Events Apprenticeship Network provides all past, current and future Apprentices a much needed safe space to ask questions and to seek advice .

At this Event we will be discussing

• Skill-sets and specialisms
• Finding your direction
• How to kick-start your career

We have all new speakers for this event who have a variety of backgrounds, from doing apprenticeships themselves, running their own businesses and assisting people with “up-skilling” and “finding their path”.

We will be joined by:

• Annette Ollerearnshaw, ex ABTT Trustee and current Production & Digital Lab Manager for Performance Programmes at the University of the Arts London
• James Cooper, co-founder of Flipside – experts in professional sound & lighting systems,
• Sandra Gittens, educator, trainer, consultant and lecturer in the Backstage Arts industry,
• Laura Pearl, graduate apprentice and current freelancer in Theatrical Hair and Makeup,
• Jane Sloan, who runs an independent learning and development consultancy business.

You will have the opportunity to hear from and speak with people from different roles within the Industry as well as meeting other Apprentices – connecting you with others who have been through the same experience.

You will be able to speak with experts from different fields, and if in doubt, find out more about the different avenues you can pursue during your career in the Live Entertainment Industry.
